Spades Esport is an emerging esports lifestyle brand aiming to merge gaming culture with bold, streetwear-inspired fashion. The brand needed a striking apparel line that resonated with gamers, creators, and the broader streetwear audience. The challenge was to create original, high-impact garment designs that stayed true to the Spades identity — bold, clean, and versatile — while remaining production-ready across multiple print methods.

The goal was to design a capsule of streetwear graphics that could be used across T-shirts, hoodies, and future accessories, while establishing a visual tone that could carry across social media, merchandise, and potential sponsorship activations.

Project Overview
The apparel line for Spades Esport was created from the ground up to reflect the brand’s bold, competitive identity. We focused on developing a clean, impactful design system that could translate seamlessly across streetwear, team merchandise, and digital assets — giving the brand a consistent presence both in-game and in real life.
♠️ Apparel Design & Streetwear Direction
The design direction was focused on making Spades stand out as a lifestyle-forward brand — not just a logo on a shirt. We crafted a range of graphics featuring custom spade elements, sharp typographic layouts, and minimal streetwear iconography.
The visuals were designed to be flexible: strong enough to work as standalone front/back graphics, but clean enough to integrate with broader brand elements like embroidery, sleeve tags, and hat patches.
All apparel designs were presented in mockup form, showing how they’d look on standard blanks. We developed layout variations including:
- Large back designs paired with minimal front chest prints
- Sleeve graphic options and woven-label placements
- Inverted colour schemes for black/white garment runs
The designs leaned on neutral palettes and sharp detailing, perfect for both screen printing and direct-to-garment production.
